Jerry Hutto dies in two-car accident on Westgate Parkway in Dothan

Jerry Dean Hutto Death – Cause of Death : 61-year-old Jerry Dean Hutto, of Enterprise, has passed following injuries he sustained from an automobile accident. The accident occurred on Tuesday morning, November 23, 2021, on Westgate Parkway in Dothan, Alabama. Hutto, who was an employee of Jim Skinner Honda in Dothan was said to be on his way to work when the ugly incident that claimed his life occurred.

According to the Dothan Police Department traffic, the incident that resulted in the death of Hutto involved two-vehicles. Following the collision, Hutton was pronounced dead after succumbing to fatal injuries suffered, while the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle survived the accident with minor injuries.

In a Facebook post by John Farish, Hutto was described as “one of the funniest personalities”. “You know, we’re supposed to grow old and watch our children have children! We’re not supposed to die in a car accident or from some freaking Covid 19! This is Jerry Dean Hutto Top-of-the-line guy and probably one of the funniest personalities that I’ve ever had an opportunity to be around! Jerry passed away this morning from a car accident on the way to work. He was employed with Jim Skinner Honda in Dothan! Jeez we had some good times!!!! R.I.P. Jerry! It just won’t be the same not seeing you anymore! Until we meet again my friend! Semper”. 

Dothan is a city in Dale, Henry, and Houston counties and the Houston county seat in the U.S. State of Alabama. It is Alabama’s eighth-largest city, with a population of 71,072 at the 2020 census. It is near the state’s southeastern corner, about 20 miles west of Georgia and 16 miles north of Florida.
